“I was too busy to grow up and now I’m too old to do so”

Tamas was born in Hungary but lived the second half of his life in Denmark.
From his youngest days he was always fascinated by drawing, art and all kind of handcraft and how things worked.

In 1982 he graduated as a Gold and Silversmith in Budapest. he experienced blending old handcrafting technologies blended with new ideas as photographic effects. The same year he was awarded second prize for a modern icon (wood/silver/gold/brass/iron) at the International Gold- and Silversmith Exhibition and Fair in Budapest.

After a period being a Goldsmith and working with gemstones, in 1984 he learned to use a new tool – the computer. Back then we had DOS and had not much CG on the PC ;-)
He is still amazed and fascinated how fast this media is evolving.

In the last 15 years he has gathered a solid knowledge in computer- and Network architecture, Web design, and programming. On this platform that he has built an understanding of Computer Graphics.

As an autodidact he learned different 2D and 3D programs and enjoyed every minute of it. From watching his first DOS based 3D Studio rendering screen line by line slowly unravelling the picture - till today’s 3D technology and real-time (game) rendering engines it was – and still is – indeed a magical journey.

And the best is yet to come...

In 2008 Tamas and his family relocated to Vancouver, BC and is now a welcomed addition to The Clayman & Associates!
