And getting to work with clients to create an interactive 3D paper pop up card as a way to accomplish their advertising goals is pure fun for me!

The company I’m a partner in, Pop Ups Inc., has been in business for over 10 years and specializes in paper-engineered, Custom Pop Up cards. In fact, that is all we do. In fact, it’s all we’ve ever done.

Pop up cards are like children’s pop up books – but smaller. They are made of paper, they are light and easy to bulk mail. They fold down flat. They are the perfect solution for a specialty direct mail campaign! Or to announce a new product or service. Or to invite potential clients to a special event.


We can create your custom 3 D pop up cards from your photographs, or your illustrations or designs – or we can have one of our designers create custom artwork for your 3D pop ups.
When we started, we were making 3D paper pop up cards as souvenir pieces, featuring Museums or Attractions all over the USA and Canada. 3D paper pop ups have a real nostalgic value and are an excellent souvenir item. However, again and again we’d get requests from the Marketing Departments of the attractions we had made the pop up souvenir cards for, asking us to create another batch of cards specifically for advertising.

We’re not dummies. We started some advertising of our own – specifically to marketing departments of attractions, resorts, etc., and Voila! The beginning of a beautiful relationship...

Just over 10 years later, we have worked with companies like Mitsubishi (creating a pop up model of their pocket size projector); Citibank Mastercard (creating a pop up that included a sound chip for a large b to b mailing); Sears Tower in Chicago (a customized Pop Up Souvenir card!) and Pfizer (a stunning Pop Up inviting employees to qualify for an incentive trip).
